Body Language
a private yoga practice built entirely around you.
Your body has been communicating with you your entire life.
The problem is, nobody ever told you that’s what it was doing.
- So when your shoulder starts hurting for "no apparent reason", you stretch it.
- When your jaw is permanently clenched, you blame stress.
- When your hips feel tight no matter how much yoga you do, you stretch them harder.
- When you’re exhausted even though you’re technically getting enough sleep, you reach for another coffee.
- When your body changes in ways you don’t like, you start looking for ways to change it back.
Because that’s what we’ve been taught to do.
Something feels uncomfortable.
Make it stop.
Something hurts.
Fix it.
Something isn’t working the way you think it should.
Figure out what’s wrong.
But what if your body isn’t the problem?
What if the pain, tension, exhaustion, discomfort, or even the part of your body you’ve spent years wishing were different….isn’t something standing between you and the way you want to feel?
What if it’s telling you exactly how to get there?

Your body has a language.
Sometimes it speaks through pain or tension.
Sometimes through the breath you don’t realize you’ve been holding, the shoulders permanently hanging out somewhere near your ears, the lower back that starts complaining every time you sit too long, or the exhaustion you can’t seem to shake.
And sometimes it’s the extra weight that has apparently signed a long-term lease, the lower-belly pooch you’ve tried every conceivable method of evicting, the thighs you wish would jiggle approximately 40% less, or that one particular part of your body you’ve been strategically hiding in photographs since approximately 2007.
We usually experience these things as problems to solve.
But what if they’re also clues?
What if the thing you thought was keeping you from where you want to go is actually showing you how to get there?
That’s where we begin.

This isn’t about getting better at yoga.
- You don’t need to touch your toes.
- You don’t need to know the poses.
- You don’t need to own expensive leggings or know what the fuck a bandha is.
- You don’t even need to like yoga yet.
You just need a body.
Before your session, you’ll share what’s happening in yours and what you’re moving through or wanting more of in your life.
From there, your practice is created specifically for you.
That might mean traditional yoga designed around what your body is working with. It might mean Kundalini Yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound, deep rest, or some combination of them all.

What if your body has been on your side the whole time?
It’s easy to think your body is working against you when it hurts, won’t heal no matter what you try, gets tired, changes in ways you don’t understand, doesn’t look the way you want it to look, or simply refuses to do what you want it to do.
Those are usually the moments we try hardest to fix it.
But what if your body isn’t actually betraying or failing you?
What if it’s been trying to help you?
Body Language gives you a place to discover that for yourself.
about what your body has been saying all along.
