The spiritual world loves to tell you,
“The answers are within you.”
Yes... sounds beautiful. So inspiring...
Aaaannd… where the f*ck are they?
Because you’ve looked.
You’ve journaled. Meditated. Pulled the cards. Read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Talked it out with your therapist, your coach, your best friend, and possibly one extremely patient voice memo thread.
You’ve learned about your patterns, your nervous system, your subconscious, your attachment style, your childhood, your consciousness.
You have gone within.
And yet... there are still places where the answer is nowhere to be seen.
But there’s one place you may not have thought to look.
Your actual b-o-d-y.
Not your thoughts about your body.
The actual physical sensations happening inside of it all day, every day.
Most of it happens so quickly that you register it for half a second and carry on with your day.
You felt something….you just didn’t know that those sensations are the literal guardians of the information that you seek.
Your body isn’t just the thing carrying your brain around while you figure out your life.
It’s an entire information system whose language is sensations.
a tightening in your chest on Sunday night thinking about going to work tomorrow.
a warmth that spreads through you when you talk about the thing you keep insisting is “just a hobby.”
a deeper breath when you imagine saying no.
a stomach drop when someone asks the question you’ve been avoiding asking yourself.
And then there’s the information that’s gotten considerably harder to ignore.
The pain in your neck that has survived three pillows, two chiropractors, and enough stretching to qualify as a part-time job.
The digestion that has apparently had its own agenda since approximately birth.
The jaw that has taken up a side hustle storing every word you didn’t say.
The lower back. The exhaustion. The tension. The body thing that has been hanging around long enough to qualify as a dependent on your taxes.
Same information system.
Different volumes.
Whether it whispers for three seconds or has been yelling for three years, your body has been communicating with you.
You just haven’t learned to speak its language yet.
Your body is your Soul brought into physical form.
And sometimes, the way you’re living doesn’t fully match what your Soul knows is possible for you.
When what you think, believe, choose, tolerate, avoid, or keep doing doesn’t match the life you’re here to live, that disconnect has to show up somewhere.
And often, it shows up in the body.
The pain or tension. The arm jiggle, wrinkle, or thigh circumference that drives you crazy. The thing that keeps coming back despite your increasingly aggressive attempts to make it please, for the love of God, go away.
Maybe your body isn’t betraying you. Maybe it’s trying to get your attention.
Which means the lower back you’ve spent three years trying to fix may have something to show you that you never would have found by thinking harder.

What if the thing happening in your body isn’t actually standing between you and where you want to go?
What if it’s pointing toward something your mind hasn’t known to look for -
something that could actually help you get where you want to go?
What if the thing you’ve been trying so hard to get rid of has been showing you where to look all along?
Maybe it’s the map.

Making sense of yourself through what you sense in your body.
That’s exactly what happens here.
Before your session, we’ll look intuitively at your energy, your body, and what’s happening in your life to get a sense of where to begin. As much as the spiritual world wants there to be, there isn’t some predetermined meaning for what’s happening in your body, and there definitely isn’t a six-step process we’re going to shove you through regardless of what actually comes up.
This is your body. The information has to come from you.
Once we’re together, that’s what we follow. We might start with a sensation and notice that it changes when you say a certain word. Maybe an image pops into your head, or a memory comes up that seems completely unrelated until suddenly it very much isn’t. We keep following what your body gives us and get curious about where it leads.
And somewhere along the way, the sensations start leading you toward something inside yourself that was there all along.
It starts to make sense.
Not because somebody handed you the answer.
Because we followed the thread until you could find it for yourself.
Somatic Sense is for you if…
Your body has been doing a thing.
The pain, the tension, the digestive issue, the weight, the exhaustion, the symptom that keeps coming back, or the thing you’ve been trying to address for so long you could now give a reasonably convincing TED Talk on it.
You’ve talked the shit out of the shit.
You’ve done therapy, coaching, personal development, healing work, or some impressive combination of all four. You understand why you do what you do. You can trace the pattern back to 1997. And somehow, knowing all of that hasn’t actually changed the thing.
You’re having a hard time moving through something.
Grief. Anger. Fear. A breakup. A loss. A giant life change. You can feel that there’s something there, but thinking about it, talking about it, or trying to “process” it hasn’t worked.
You’re somewhere between who you were and whoever you’re becoming.
The old version of you doesn’t fit anymore, the new one hasn’t exactly introduced herself, and your current identity appears to be three question marks in a trench coat.
You’re stuck somewhere thinking has stopped being useful.
A decision. A relationship. Your work. Money. What you want next. You’ve made the pros-and-cons list, asked the people, analyzed every possible outcome, and somehow managed to become less certain.
You’re willing to discover that what you currently believe might not be true.
About yourself. About what you want. About what’s possible. About the story you’ve been telling yourself for fifteen years about why you can’t do the thing.
And maybe most importantly, you’re willing to do something with what you find.
Because this isn’t about discovering one more fascinating thing about yourself and filing it next to the other 436 fascinating things you already know.
It’s for the woman who is willing to see herself clearly, take responsibility for what’s hers, and let what she discovers actually change the way she lives.
Psst… you do not need to arrive knowing what your symptom means, what you’re supposed to uncover, or where any of this is going.
That’s the f*cking point.
Imagine what changes when you understand the language of your body.
The decision you’ve been going back and forth on for six months finally becomes clear; not because you made another pros-and-cons list or polled everyone you’ve ever met, but because this time, you knew how to listen for your own answer — and didn’t need everybody else to agree with it before you trusted it.
You’re sitting in the meeting discussing the promotion you’ve worked toward for years when that familiar heaviness shows up in your chest. Except this time, you don’t dismiss it and keep smiling. You know how to get curious. And somewhere underneath “Of course I want this, I’ve worked so hard for it” you discover something wildly inconvenient, but freeing at the same time: You don’t fucking want it anymore.
You’re about to send the “Sure! That works for me!” text when your stomach does the thing. And instead of overriding it because disappointing someone feels significantly more dangerous than disappointing yourself, you stop. You listen. And five minutes later, the text actually says what you wanted to say in the first place - guilt free.
The hobby you’ve been squeezing into the leftover corners of your life stops being “that little thing I do sometimes.” Because now you understand why your entire body comes alive when you talk about it. You finally let yourself wonder what would happen if the thing that makes you feel that alive got more than whatever scraps of time were left after everything “important” was done.
The next time your body hits the brakes on something you swear you want, you don’t immediately decide you’re self-sabotaging and launch Operation Fix Myself. Maybe you get curious enough to discover that you aren’t afraid of success at all. You’re trying to succeed at something you don’t actually want.
And maybe the pain, tension, heaviness, flutter, clench, heat, exhaustion, or weird body thing you once treated as an interruption becomes something else entirely:
a place you know to look when you need to find your way.
Because when you stop treating your body as something to override, manage, fix, or drag along for the ride… you get to start discovering what it knows that you don’t yet.
